“Changes” was born from a real story. Ullien has said he was repeatedly pushed to change his own essence in order to fit environments that expected something else from him, and that along the way he almost lost himself.

Groundbass invited him to Brazilian Ritual, and he has said that was when he realised he had a place in the world as himself. The track landed on the Beatport Top 100 for Psy-Trance.

The story

Ullien is the artist name of Ulisses Cordeiro, a Brazilian progressive psytrance DJ and producer. In 2026 the track “Changes” was selected for Brazilian Ritual, a compilation by Iboga Records, one of the genre's most respected labels worldwide.

The whole discography moves through the same territory. Changes, Vulnerability, Duality, Mental Health, Awakening, The Escape are titles about psychological state and transformation, repeated over years and across nine labels.

The repetition is not a coincidence. It is the subject he chose to work on.
